Government Relations Curriculum

Shomari has developed a comprehensive Government Relations Curriculum to equip organizations, leaders, and community groups with the knowledge and tools to establish effective, ethical, and sustainable relationships with government officials.

The curriculum outlines a 7-step framework for public-sector engagement, which includes preparation, action planning, respectful outreach, meeting strategies, relationship maintenance, and innovation. The design focuses on clarity, consistency, credibility, and long-term partnership building. It helps organizations strengthen their advocacy strategies, improve communication with elected officials, and prepare for grant, budget, or policy engagement.

Originally created as a specialized strategic tool, this curriculum is now part of Shomari's broader leadership and systems portfolio.

In 2026, Shomari will make the Government Relations Curriculum available for use by:

- Nonprofits
- Advocacy organizations
- Community coalitions
- Faith-based institutions
- Local leadership teams
- Public administration and civic engagement programs

Organizations will gain access to a complete government relations system that includes training modules, facilitator guides, templates, worksheets, and engagement strategies.

Refine Curriculum

Shomari authored the full Refine Growth Program Curriculum for a faith-based organization—an 8-week developmental experience designed to help women deepen identity, confront internal barriers, strengthen emotional and spiritual clarity, and implement sustainable personal growth plans.

Built on a structured weekly progression, the curriculum integrates teaching, reflection, journaling, fasting, prayer, group dialogue, and personalized coaching.

The program produced three successful cohorts, each culminating in the Refine Women’s Conference—a celebration of transformation and shared testimony. Its impact also led to the creation of an ongoing Refine Women’s Mentorship Group, offering long-term support and accountability for graduates.
